ok so i make sugar cookies A LOT but they are ALWAYS CRUNCHY! i guess i dont have the touch to make soft ones or something? but if there are any tricks anyone uses or recipe tell me! thanx
I think you just take them out a minute or two early and then keep them in an air tight container shortly after taking them out of the oven. To make Brown sugar soft you can add a slice of an apple, so I'd try it in the container with the cookies to keep them soft.
if you get crunchy cookies just put them in an air tight container with a slice of bread and you will get soft cookies. also I think the sugar cookie receipe with sour cream in it, in the 2nd Houston cook book turns out pretty soft.
